Imagine playing your favourite game on PS 4, sitting on the toilet seat while doing number 2 and yet still earning money via a passive income business. Not a great analogy or one you’ll like?.. ok..Ok but one piece of advice I have learnt over the years is to use technology to become more productive and also make money while at it. 
How are you using Technology in your life? Especially your business life? The dictionary defines technology as “the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes, especially in industry.” I am more interested though, in digital technology. Which AI (artificial intelligence) defines as;
Digital technology is the use of electronic systems, devices, and methods to create, store, process, and transmit data. It encompasses a broad range of tools like computers and smartphones, and concepts like software, the internet, and artificial intelligence, all of which operate using discrete values (binary code, or \(0\)s and \(1\)s).
Digital Technology tools and systems; internet, smart phones, software, AI, etc, can greatly enhance your business and make it more profitable. If you are in Education for instance. Add digital tech to it and you have Edu-tech (eg. Ulesson). You in Finance? Add Digital Tech, and you have a Fin-tech product that can make you millions (e.g Opay). you in buying and selling? Add digital technology, and you have e-commerce (eg Jumia). For the purpose of this article, these are actually the simplest strategies for adding digital tech and using it to make money. There are other complex and more detailed applications or works you can research further on.
When you add digital technology to your business, you stand above the competition. You don’t have to start these ideas big. Start small, eg: digitize your inventory, create a business email with your own domain name, automate your office process/operation, sound more professional on WhatsApp. Those small small things will either save you some unnecessary expenses and or grow your bottom line, and as you grow you can hire or outsource experts to help you become big and better; with more advanced digitech application and uses.
